This is a large Blue species which has two look-for features as far as I can see... Firstly the male upperside white "antler" markings on the forewing costa, and secondly the large white triangle inside the line of orange lunules on the hindwing underside. These butterfly photos do show both these features.

I have encountered it in Southern and Eastern France on several occasions, without special effort.
